An Unlikely Alliance (La Rupture) wraps up filming

Effervescence’s cast and crew celebrated the successful completion of principal photography of An Unlikely Alliance (La Rupture), a political intrigue historical drama about the impossible alliance between French politicians Valéry Giscard d’Estaing and Jacques Chirac during their power-sharing arrangement that defined the post-de Gaulle era.

Renown French actors starring in this film include Hippolyte Girardot, Gregori Dérangère, Géraldine Pailhas, Bruno Raffaeli (of the Comédie Française), Yvon Back, Eric Prat and  Evelyne Buyle.

The TV movie will air in 2013 on France3
